Amy Haysman, E-RYT, RCYT, M.Ed began teaching Middle School Literature long ago when she was young enough to be mistaken for a student. After the stunning realization that it’s unprofessional to bring a baby to school, she stopped teaching, had another child and earned a Masters in Middle Grades Education. In an effort to find herself, she signed up for yoga and 3 minutes into the first class became completely lost in the idea of making this practice accessible to all kids. By Savasana, her new path was sealed and she earned certification through YogaKids and Radiant Child. With decades of experience teaching kids, laughter yoga certification and couple 200 hour adult teacher trainings, she co-founded Grounded Yoga, Laughter, Elevation and still loves teaching yoga to children and training grown ups to do the same. It turns out that grounding kids in who they truly are and helping them genuinely express themselves is her life’s purpose and exactly where she’s meant to be found.
Amy teaches at yoga clubs and studios in Alpharetta & Johns Creek. Email email@example.com for a schedule.
Amanda is a mama and arts education professional who has been studying yoga for over 15 years. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History and Criticism from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and Spanish from Gettysburg College. She has taught and supported creative programs for students of all ages in schools, museums, universities, and historic towns for over fifteen years. She is a Certified Grounded Kids Yoga teacher, having completed 95+ hours of specialized training in teaching yoga to children ages 3-18. Rooted in the Grounded: Yoga, Laughter, Elevation model, Amanda’s yoga classes for kids and teens are literacy-infused, integrating stories, words, letters, alliteration, music, art-making, laughter, and games with yoga to empower students along their own path towards deeper self-knowledge and awareness. They focus on helping children cultivate mindfulness and nurturing their physical, emotional, and social needs through grounding structure, yoga movement, and creativity. Amanda’s intention is to give children the chance to discover their own worthiness and inner light—so that they will shine brightly wherever they go.
